Noureddine Miladi (Ph.D.) is professor of media and communication and former head of the Department of Mass Communication at Qatar University. He has published over 40 research works (books, book chapters and journal papers). He got awarded 22 research grants over the last 15 years. Among his recent book publications: Routledge Handbook of Arab Media (Routledge, 2021), Global Media Ethics and the Digital Revolution (Routledge, 2022), in addition to the forthcoming book on: Global Media Coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict (I.B. Tauris, July 2023). He is head of a research project on ‘Youth, Social Media and National Identity in Qatar’ (funded by Qatar National Research Fund). Prof Miladi supervises MA and Ph.D. students in media and social change, media and democracy, Arab media, social media networks, and media ethics.
