Abstract
According to Hegel, the end goal of philosophy is to reach the absolute spirit. The absolute is the whole that provides all singular determinations and the relation between them. The necessary part of this whole is the concept, and the concept is in human mind. Thus knowledge of the absolute reveals itself in the consciousness of the subject. Each aspect of this exposition constitutes a stage. The absolute spirit stage, which constitutes the final stage of Hegel’s philosophy, reveals itself in certain appearances. Art forms the first step of these appearances. Thus,, in Hegel, art is positioned in an important place in the processes of acquiring knowledge. However, in Hegel’s the field of art generally remains in the background when it comes to subjects such as knowledge, truth or absolute. In this study, considering this position of art, its relationship with knowledge has been examined.

Abstract
Hegel’e göre felsefenin nihai hedefi mutlağın bilgisine ulaşmaktır. Mutlak, tüm tekil belirlenimler ve onlar arasındaki ilişkiyi sağlayan bütündür. Bu bütünün zorunlu parçası kavramdır ve kavram insan zihnindedir. Dolayısıyla mutlağın bilgisi kendini öznenin bilincinde açımlar. Bu açımlamanın her bir görünümü bir aşamayı meydana getirir. Hegel felsefesinin nihai aşamasını meydana getiren mutlak tin aşaması ise kendini belirli görünümlerde ortaya koyar. Sanat da bu görünümlerin ilk basamağını oluşturur. Dolayısıyla Hegel’de sanat, bilgi edinim süreçlerinde önemli bir yerde konumlandırılmıştır. Oysa Hegel çalışmalarında genellikle bilgi, hakikat veya mutlak gibi konular söz konusu olduğunda sanat alanı geri planda kalmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise sanatın bu konumu göz önüne alınarak onun bilgi ile ilişkisi incelenmiştir.
