Haber Söylemi: 2018 Yılında Türkiye’de Yaşanmış 5 ve Üzeri Ölümü Karayolu Trafik Olaylarının Gazete Haberlerinde Sunumu
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın konusunu, Türkiye’de 2018 yılında yaşanmış beş ve üzeri ölümlü karayolu trafik olaylarının Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet, Sabah ve Yeni Şafak gazetelerinde sunumu oluşturmaktadır.
Çalışmanın yönteminde Teun Adrian van Dijk’ın eleştirel söylem çözümlemesi yaptığı “makro-mikro modeli” kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, kuramsal temeli ve bu temele uygun yöntemi ve çözümleme biçimiyle eleştirel söylem çözümlemesinin unsurlarını taşımaktadır. Kuramsal temelde van Dijk’ın yaklaşımı anlatılmış, yöntemde yine van Dijk’ın modeli tanıtılmış ve çözümlemede de 1991 yılında yaptığı çözümlemeye paralel bir çözümleme gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Sonuçta bu çalışma, van Dijk’ın eleştirel söylem yaklaşımının geçerliliğini ve Türkçe haberlerin incelenmesinde uygun olduğunu göstermiştir. Çalışma, haberlerin çözümlemesi ile gazeteler arasında fark olmadığını, dört gazetenin de haberlerin söyleminde ideolojik üretim yaptığını ve van Dijk’ın makro-mikro modelinin tüm özelliklerini taşıdığını ortaya koymuştur. Dolayısıyla haberlerin sunumunda sorunlar olduğu saptanmıştır. Nitekim haberlere, objektiflik üzerinden yapılacak uyarılar artık, yeterli değildir. Çalışmanın da vurguladığı gibi haberlerde ideolojik üretimin nasıl yapıldığını ortaya koymak çok daha önemli olmaktadır.
