Abstract

Denetimli serbestlik uygulaması, suça yönelmiş bireylerin rehabilite edilerek toplumsal yeniden bütünleşmelerini kolaylaştırmak ve temel olarak suçu önlemek amacıyla ortaya çıkmış olan bir cezalandırma pratiğidir. Suçun önlenmesi ve toplumsal bütünleşmenin sağlanması, suça zemin hazırlayan toplumsal faktörlerle yakından ilintilidir. Dolayısıyla, denetimli serbestlik altındaki bireylerin ihtiyaç ve beklentileri, denetimli serbestliğin kendini tanımladığı hedefler açısından kritik bir öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışma, Eylül 2014 ve Nisan 2017 yılları arasında Antalya Denetimli Serbestlik Müdürlüğü’nde denetimli serbestlikten faydalanan 2560 kişiyle gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın verilerinden hareketle, denetimli serbestlik, denetimli serbestlik altındaki bireylerin kriminojenik ihtiyaçları, kurumsal beklentileri ve uygulamaya yönelik değerlendirmeleri arasındaki çok boyutlu ilişkileri aydınlatmayı amaçlamaktadır.
