THE EFFECT OF COLOR FACTOR ON DRESSING ROOM DESIGN; EXAMPLE OF KONYA METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY STADIUM

Abstract

This study was carried out with the participation of professional interior architects and architects who designed the spaces in order to determine the harmony of the colors used in interior design together with the corporate identity elements of the institution. This study is a preliminary research of KTO Karatay University Fine Arts and Design Faculty Architecture Department doctoral program study. Within the scope of the study, the participants were asked to assume that they, as professional Interior Architects, designed the dressing room of Konyaspor, the host team of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium. A preview of the dressing room was created in the virtual space, and they were asked to evaluate the combination of 15 different wall colors and green and white furniture, which is the corporate color of Konyaspor, selected by 10 professional academician Interior Architects/Architects from the specific type, value, saturation parameters of the Munsell color system. Of the 15 different wall colors chosen, 6 of them are warm, 6 of them are cold and 3 of them are neutral colors. In this evaluation, 15 realistic images and color combinations prepared in the virtual environment were prepared for the participants and the participants were asked to evaluate their "use or not" status. The 3 colors to be preferred will be used for the experimental space in the next stage of the study. As a result of the study, the harmony of the color selection used in the space design with the corporate identity will be determined and it will be aimed to be a guiding study for the designers.

SOYUNMA ODASI TASARIMINDA RENK FAKTÖRÜNÜN ETKİSİ; KONYA BÜYÜKŞEHİR BELEDİYESİ STADYUMU ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma iç mekân tasarımında kullanılan renklerin, kuruma ait kurumsal kimlik öğeleri ile birlikte uyumu durumunun belirlenmesi amacı ile mekânları tasarlayan profesyonel iç mimar ve mimarların katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışma KTO Karatay Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar ve Tasarım Fakültesi Mimarlık Anabilim Dalı doktora programı çalışmasının bir ön araştırması niteliğindedir. Çalışma kapsamında katılımcılara, profesyonel İç Mimar/ Mimar olarak kendilerini Konya Büyükşehir Belediyesi Stadyumu ev sahibi takımı olan Konyaspor'un soyunma odasının tasarımını yaptıklarını varsaymaları istenmiştir. Sanal mekânda soyunma odasının ön izlemesi oluşturulmuş, Munsell renk sisteminin belirli tür, değer, doygunluk parametrelerinden, 10 kişilik profesyonel akademisyen İç Mimar/ Mimar tarafından seçilmiş 15 adet farklı duvar rengi ile Konyaspor kurumsal rengi olan yeşil beyaz mobilya kombinasyonunu değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Seçilen 15 adet farklı duvar renginin 6’sı sıcak, 6’sı soğuk ve 3’ü nötr renklerden oluşmaktadır. Bu değerlendirmede katılımcılara, sanal ortamda hazırlanan 15 gerçekçi görüntü ile renk kombinasyonu hazırlanmış ve katılımcılara, ''kullanıp kullanmama'' durumlarını değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Tercih edilecek 3 renk, çalışmanın sonraki aşamasında deney mekânı için kullanılacaktır. Çalışma sonucunda, mekân tasarımında kullanılan renk seçiminin kurum kimliğiyle olan uyumu saptanmış olacak ve tasarımcılar için yönlendirici bir çalışma olması amaçlanacaktır.
