Year 2021, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 243 - 258, 29.12.2021

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the competitiveness perceptions of the tourism stakeholders in Kırklareli. In the study, the effects of tourism have been identified as economic, socio-cultural, environmental impacts and tourism stakeholders arising from the tourism resources and activities of the destination. Accordingly, the statements of 17 stakeholders, who are representatives of private and public institutions related to Kırklareli tourism and have decision-making positions, have been described and interpreted for qualitative research. Stakeholders highlighted that tourism has important contributions to many sectors due to its multiplier effect, as well as providing employment and earning opportunities to local people through the sale of agriculture and local products. In this context, it is thought that the study will contribute to the researches on the perception and coordination of stakeholders about the effects of tourism.

Year 2021, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 243 - 258, 29.12.2021
