Platform Kapitalizmi ve Kamusallığın Dijital Krizi: Hız Rejimi Ekseninde Müzakerenin Tasfiyesi

Abstract

Bu kuramsal çalışma, dijital ağların kamusal alanda yarattığı yapısal dönüşümü platform kapitalizminin ekonomi-politiği bağlamında incelemektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, kamusallığın dijital krizini salt teknolojik determinizm ve “yankı odası” miti üzerinden okuyan indirgemeci yaklaşımları aşarak; meseleyi hız rejimi, duygulanım ekonomisi ve siyasal dolaysızlık kavramları ekseninde yeniden tartışmaya açmaktır. Tarihsel materyalist bir kavrayış ve kavramsal analiz yönteminin benimsendiği makalede, müzakerenin maddi koşullarındaki tahribat irdelenmektedir. Ulaşılan sonuçlara göre; demokratik müzakerenin çöküşü, bireylerin yalıtık fanuslara hapsolmasından ziyade, rasyonel gerekçelendirme emeğini yok eden kâr odaklı algoritmik “hız” mimarisinin doğrudan bir sonucudur. Bu krizi aşmak için içerik sansürü yerine; zehirli duygulanımları frenleyerek rasyonel karşılaşmalara zaman tanıyan normatif bir “tasarımsal sürtünme” (design friction) ve demokratik yavaşlama mimarisinin inşa edilmesi gerektiği savunulmakta; bu inşanın salt mimari bir beklenti değil, kâr odaklı teknoloji tekellerine karşı doğrudan politik bir mücadele, bir praksis gerektirdiği vurgulanmaktadır.

Platform Capitalism and the Digital Crisis of the Public Sphere: The Liquidation of Deliberation under the Regime of Speed

Abstract

This theoretical study examines the structural transformation of the digital public sphere within the political economy of platform capitalism. It moves beyond reductionist accounts that explain the digital crisis of the public sphere solely through technological determinism or the “echo chamber” myth, and reconsiders the problem through regimes of speed, affective economies, and political immediacy. Adopting a historical-materialist approach and conceptual analysis, the article investigates the destruction of deliberation’s material conditions. It argues that the crisis of democratic deliberation stems not simply from isolated bubbles, but from a profit-driven algorithmic speed architecture that erodes rational justification. Against content censorship, the study advocates design friction and democratic deceleration as normative architectures that restrain toxic immediacy, create time for rational encounters, and require a political praxis against profit-driven technology monopolies.

Capitalisme de Plateforme et Crise Numérique de la Sphère Publique: La Liquidation de la Délibération sous le Régime de Vitesse

Abstract

Cette étude théorique examine la transformation structurelle de la sphère publique numérique dans l’économie politique du capitalisme de plateforme. Elle dépasse les lectures réductionnistes qui expliquent la crise numérique de la sphère publique par le seul déterminisme technologique ou par le mythe de la « chambre d’écho », et la réévalue à travers les notions de régime de vitesse, d’économie affective et d’immédiateté politique. À partir d’une approche matérialiste historique et d’une analyse conceptuelle, l’article étudie la destruction des conditions matérielles de la délibération. Il soutient que la crise de la délibération démocratique résulte moins de bulles isolées que d’une architecture algorithmique de vitesse orientée vers le profit. Contre la censure des contenus, l’étude défend la friction de conception et la décélération démocratique, qui freinent l’immédiateté toxique, redonnent du temps aux rencontres rationnelles et exigent une praxis politique contre les monopoles technologiques orientés vers le profit.
