İnternette Tartışma Listeleri: Demokratik Bir Açılım mı? Egemen Söylemin Taşındığı Kanallar mı?

The most of the theories on Internet, assume that Internet is a tool of the social change. The present of different identities in Internet seen as the proof of the democratic structure of Internet. The one of the main assumption of his study is that democratic function of Internet can only proof with different contents and different agenda of different identity. The study includes two researches which had been done in different periods. In the first research, the discussion lists of members which are belong to different identities, have been studied. The relation between these lists and dominant discourse has been evaluated. In the second research, the reproduction of the same identity in different social context has been studied. The mean problematic of the study is if Internet has the function of become democratic. Research finding is that Internet make different identities became passer of the dominant discourse.

La plupart des théories prenant pour objet l'Internet le considèrent comme un moyen de transformation sociale. La presence sur l'Internet des identités différentes est vue, par ces théories, comme une preuve de sa structure démocratique. Une des présupposions centrales de cette étude est que la fonction démocratisante de l'Internet ne peut être prouvée que si les différents ordres du jours et des contenus appartenant a des identités différentes s'y trouvent exprimés. Cette étude se base sur deux recherches faites à deux périodes différentes. La première recherche dont la problématique est d'observer comment les identités différentes se reproduisent dans le discours dominant en perdant ainsi dans ce processus leurs particularités, prend pour objet l'évaluation des listes des discussions auxquelles se trouvent attachées des personnes de divers identités politiques. On y a évalué les liens de ces listes avec le discours dominant. La deuxième recherche essaie de nous montrer comment une seule identité se reconstruit dans des différents contextes sociaux. La problématique principale de cette étude est d'interroger si oui ou non l'Internet possède une fonction démocratisante ? Les résultats obtenus nous pousse a argumenter que ce moyen de communication transforme plutôt les identités différentes en des porteurs du discours dominant.

İnternet ile ilgili kuramların birçoğu interneti toplumsal dönüşümün bir aracı olarak görmektedir. İnternette farklı kimliklerin bulunması, internetin demokratik yapısının ispatı olarak görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel varsayımlarından biri internetin demokratikleştirici işlevinin ancak farklı kimliklere ait farklı gündem ve içeriklerle ispatlanabileceğidir. Çalışma farklı dönemlerde yapılmış iki araştırmayı içermektedir. ilk araştırmada farklı siyasal kimliklere sahip üyelerden oluşan tartışma listeleri incelenmiştir. Bu listelerin egemen söylem ile ilişkisi değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın konusu farklı kimliklerin kendilerini egemen söylem içinde yeniden üretmesi ve kimlik farklılıklarının ortadan kalkmasıdır. ikinci araştırmada tek bir kimliğin farklı toplumsal bağlamlar içinde kendini yeniden üretmesi değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın temel sorunsalı, internetin demokratikleştirici bir işleve sahip olup olmadığıdır. Araştırma bulguları internetin farklı kimlikleri egemen söylemin aktarıcısı haline getirdiğidir.
