Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Galatasaray University Journal of Communication (İleti-ş-im) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes articles written in Turkish, French, and English following double-blind peer review. The journal predominantly publishes articles that are built through creative research designs and present original findings. In addition to articles, a limited number of book reviews or translations that would contribute to the literature can be included in the issues.

The articles that would be sent to the journal must not have been published anywhere priorly.

The journal is published online only twice a year (December and June). In addition, the journal can publish one special issue in a year.

The editorial team starts the double-blind peer review process to publish original, scientific, and contributive articles to the literature. A third reviewer is sought if necessary. The publisher and executive editor of İleti-ş-im Journal is the dean of the Faculty of Communication at Galatasaray University. There is absolute editorial independence between İleti-ş-im Journal and Galatasaray University.

The journal does not charge any fee at any level of publishing.

İleti-ş-im follows the instructions of the Journal of Publications Ethics Committee (Committee Publication Ethics – COPE, https://publicationethics.org/).
