Görsel Kimlik Göstergeleri Açısından "Arçelik" Firması Web Sayfası İncelemesi
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to conduct a research regarding the meanings of elements forming the selected company's visual identity such as logo, writing characters, colors, trade characters, and identity their appropriateness and contribution to the corporate identity. We have also stated which public relations tools on the internet have been used by the analyzed company's web site. The company that we have chosen for analysis is Arçelik, which has the highest net sales figure in the "Top 500 Companies" study conducted by Istanbul Chamber of Industry in 2002. The web site has been analyzed in a selective manner employing an analysis technique benefiting from semiotic theories. The company's main page has been analyzed assuming that visual identity signs the place on the main page of a company.
